  • Location Royal Society of Medicine
  • Organised by Partner Symposium, Cleveland Clinic London

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death worldwide, highlighting the need for better education to improve care and outcomes.

Stay at the forefront of CVD with our two-day seminar bringing together experts from the UK and the US for a state-of-the-art review of the most significant changes, critical updates, and recommendations to incorporate into your practice. Attendees can expect updates on cutting-edge science and the implementation of evidence-based guidelines, with the opportunity to network with fellow attendees and renowned speakers. In partnership with the Cleveland Clinic’s Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute.

Topic highlights include:

  • Prevention and management of CVD
  • Essentials of CAD
  • Heart failure and cardiomyopathies
  • Heart rhythm
  • Diagnosis and management decisions in valve disease

This conference aims to:

  • Apply knowledge to reduce cardiovascular risks through optimal management of dyslipidemia, hypertension, and diabetes.
  • Describe innovations in diagnostic modalities and their clinical use to screen, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiovascular disease.
  • Evaluate medical and procedural options for prevention, detection, risk assessment, rhythm and rate management, and stroke prevention in the care of patients with atrial fibrillation.
  • Analyse the evidence on traditional and contemporary pharmacotherapies, monitoring, and therapeutic devices, to prioritize treatment in heart failure management.
  • Evaluate special considerations in heart failure care, including cardio-oncology, cardiogenic shock, critical care cardiology, cardio-obstetrics, cardiometabolic considerations, and cardiac amyloidosis and HOCM.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive, evidence-based care in the evaluation and management of ischemic heart disease.
  • Utilise recent evidence on mitral and aortic valve disease and diseases of the aorta in clinical decision making for patients with structural heart disease.
