Join the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) Paediatrics & Child Health Section, in collaboration with the London School of Paediatrics, for this virtual study day exploring key topics in paediatric emergency medicine. Designed primarily for resident doctors, the programme brings together regional experts to deliver practical, up-to-date learning that supports clinical practice and career development.
Managing acutely unwell children requires confident clinical decision-making and effective multidisciplinary working. This study day will provide practical updates on spotting the sick child, burns, acute surgical presentations, procedural sedation, adolescent mental health and youth violence. Delegates will also gain insight into career development opportunities within paediatric emergency medicine, including GRID and SPIN training pathways.

Learning outcomes

- Identify training and career development opportunities within paediatric emergency medicine, including GRID and SPIN pathways
