Speaker's biography

Dr Finlay Sutton is based in Garstang (North West England) limiting his clinical work to removable prosthodontics. Together with his highly skilled dental technician (Rowan Garstang), working in the room next door, we provide patients with superbly functioning and life-like dentures – often profoundly improving their quality of life. Finlay loves teaching dental professionals how to provide state of the art dentures, aiming to ignite enthusiasm for removable prosthodontics. He qualified in 1993 and spent 6 years in general practice, during this time he found prosthodontics difficult and unpredictable. This led Finlay to leave general dental practice and gain a further 7 years formal training in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry at Manchester and Liverpool dental hospitals prior to establishing his specialist referral practice in 2007.

He concentrates his professional life within three areas of removable prosthodontics, namely; clinical provision for patients, training/lecturing/mentorship for dental professionals, and research and development.
