Valentina's research has been published in The Journal of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders as well as The Journal of Human Reproduction. In 2022 and 2023 Valentina was featured on Forbes 30 Under 30, and in 2024 The Daye Diagnostic Tampon was named as Invention of the Year by TIME Magazine.

Dr Sioned Fôn Jones is an award-winning Scientist with a Master of Science in Chemistry and a PhD in Biophysics. She was listed on the 2024 Forbes 30 under 30 list, and was a recipient of the 2023 Potts Medal for her outstanding contribution to science. She has co-founded BoobyBiome which is a healthtech start-up based in Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health leveraging extensive knowledge of the breast milk microbiome to create products that will revolutionise infant health.

Professor of Paediatric Cardiovascular Science, King’s College London

Speaker's biography

Reza Razavi, M.D., is Professor of Paediatric Cardiovascular Science at King’s College London (KCL), a Paediatric Cardiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) and CEO of Fraiya Ltd a start-up developing AI enabled pregnancy ultrasound technologies.


Professor Razavi qualified in Medicine at St. Bartholomew’s Medical School in 1988. He later trained in Paediatrics and Paediatric Cardiology at GSTT and started a career in research at KCL.
His research is focused on cardiovascular imaging and his team have led a number of innovations including first-in-man MRI guided cardiac catheterisation procedures and MRI of the fetal cardiovascular system. He has also been the Director of two major research centres, the Wellcome Trust and Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council Centre for Medical Engineering (2010-2021) and the Innovate UK Medical Imaging and AI Centre for Value Based Healthcare (2019-2024).


He has held several leadership positions at KCL including Head of Division of Imaging Sciences and Biomedical Engineering (Jan 2007 - Feb 2017), Assistant Principal (Research & Innovation) (July 2015 - Feb 2017) and Vice President (Research) (March 2017 – Dec 2022).


He is the past chair of the British Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and the Cardiac Study Group of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
Distinguished Awards


He has had Honorary professorships at University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Monash University.


In 2019 he was awarded the Combined Royal Colleges Medal and Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society for contributions to the field of Medical Imaging.


In 2023 he was awarded the Fellowship of Kings College London.


In 2025 he gave the Mansfield Lecture at the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine

Dr. Anna Klepchukova is the Chief Medical Officer at Flo Health. With a background in clinical medicine and pharmaceutical marketing, Anna brings a wealth of expertise to her position.


Anna's efforts to translate the latest medical and scientific knowledge into digital solutions have been transformative for the company — since joining the company in 2017, Flo has become the most popular women’s health app globally. Her vision and leadership have been instrumental in building an in-house Medical and Science team as well as establishing the Flo Medical and Scientific Advisory Boards, which now include over 120 leading experts in female health.
As a result, Flo is the #1 OB-GYN-recommended app for period and cycle tracking and has built a track-record of scientific publications in the field of women’s health.

Anna's career is marked by a deep commitment to advancing women's health. After medical school, she worked in intensive care medicine, including caring for terminally ill patients, which led her to develop an interest in preventative care. It also led her to a second career in the pharmaceutical industry, including working as a Marketing Manager at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where she saw first hand the shortfall in novel medicines for female health conditions. A passion for combining preventative medicine and disruptive innovations to address this unmet need brought her to Flo.


Anna holds a medical degree (MD) from Belarusian State Medical University, and has also studied marketing at The Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK. Her mission is to change the world by creating novel technologies to improve people's health. It’s Anna’s belief that through scientific research and education on reproductive and sexual health, we can help every woman and person who menstruates live a healthier and happier life.

Speaker's biography

Dr Bu Siakpere FFPM MBA MRCOG is a Senior Global Medical Director at GSK and Chair of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Forum. She brings extensive UK and global experience from diverse roles across medicine in different sectors and settings. Her pharmaceutical medicine career in medical affairs spans multiple therapeutic areas and has included women’s health innovation focussed on new cancer treatments; her clinical practice in obstetrics and gynaecology was in the UK, National Health Service where she trained after graduating in medicine from the University of Birmingham. She has an MBA from Imperial College, London. Dr Siakpere’s work includes a focus on catalysing change to address inequities in health outcomes affecting under-served populations, especially women worldwide. Insights from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine will be shared.
