This one-day event, organised with the UK Renal Health Data Research Network and BHF Data Science Centre, brings together key stakeholders in health data science. It will highlight expertise in UK renal data research and explore how data-driven methodologies can enhance the understanding and treatment of kidney disease. The event is relevant to professionals in Nephrology, Cardiology, Public Health, Epidemiology, and Primary Care, featuring high-profile global leaders in renal epidemiology.

This meeting seeks to highlight the depth of expertise in UK renal data science and illustrate how health data research can be utilised to enhance patient care and outcomes for those with kidney disease.

By attending this meeting, you will

  • Understand how mental health impacts outcomes in people with kidney disease
  • Describe how large-scale datasets can be used to improve the care of patients with kidney disease
  • Describe principles of data-driven, efficient trial design concerning kidney disease

The Nephrology Section, Stewart Cameron Science Award, and Rosemarie Baillod Clinical Award will also be presented and awarded at the conference.
