Professor Marcus Maurer, Professor of Dermatology and Allergy and Director of Research at the Department of Dermatology and Allergy, Allergie-Centrum-Charité of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin in Berlin.

Professor Maurer will be sharing details of his latest work from his team in Berlin and providing an analysis of the European perspective on the treatment of mast cell disorders.

There will be a small opening for Q+A during the session.

Submission deadline: Friday 7 December 2018
Meeting date: Tuesday 12 February 2019

Prize: Oral presentation: 1st prize: £300; 2nd prize: two prizes of £100.
Open to: Training grade doctors, young scientists and medical students (not above Specialist Registrar, Grade B Clinical Scientist or equivalent grade) with an immunological or allergy component of their clinical research.

The work to be presented must be original and substantially the candidate's own. Abstracts (not exceeding 250 words) should be submitted with an immunology and allergy element along with a supporting letter from a supervisor.

Please note that shortlisted candidates will be asked to give an oral presentation.
