The CE Wallis lecture is delivered every 5th year on the history of dentistry. This year, the Royal Society of Medicine is pleased to welcome Mr Malcolm Bishop who shall be giving a keynote lecture on ‘The ebb and flow of ethical governance in a medical sub-specialty: Dentistry in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries’.

This lecture will look at the changing nature of ethical governance in dentistry over the last three centuries. It will identify, and where possible, isolate those governance factors, and will consider previous episodes where the vocation of dentistry came under varying degrees of external ethical governance.

Non-member from £10 - £20
*Tickets include a drinks reception following the lecture
