The Sylvia Lawler meeting is the prestigious annual prize meeting for the RSM oncology section. It was established in memory of Sylvia Lawler one of this country's first female geneticists. The meeting provides a forum for clinicians and scientists in training to present their research. Two prizes are available for the best scientific and clinical presentation and the overall winner nominated for the RSM Wesleyan prize.
