Inter-Library loans

The Royal Society of Medicine Library offers an Inter-Library loan service which gives members access to books and material not held at the RSM Library. An ILL service is also available for external institutions and libraries and institutions. Please visit the 'Information for other libraries' page for further information.

For RSM members

If you require an Inter-Library loan, a majority of the requests will be sourced from the British Library. If the British Library does not hold the requested item we will try other sources, typically UK universities or the National Library of Medicine. These may take slightly longer depending on the source.

The Inter-Library loan service is available to all RSM members for a small charge. The fee is dependent on which delivery method is selected.
