Register to join Episode 45 'Mathematical models: predicting the path of the virus' on Zoom here.

For this episode, we welcome Professor John Edmunds OBE, Dean at the Faculty of Epidemiology and Population Health, and Professor of Infectious Disease Modelling at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

In a discussion with Professor Sir Simon Wessely, Professor Edmunds will look under the bonnet of the mathematical models used to predict the course of the pandemic, discussing both their importance and their limitations, in helping to guide a response to the virus.

Professor Edmunds, who is a member of SAGE, will also give his insights into where he thinks the pandemic is going, and what we can do about it.
