This meeting will focus on the contemporary management of vascular malformations and its aim is to identify the different types of vascular malformations that can be encountered, the different ways of managing it and to give delegates an overview of the problems that could occur and how to manage the patients when they do occur

The day will be of interest to consultants and trainees in OMF Surgery, Plastic surgery, Ent Surgery and Radiology

Objectives

  • Understand current methods of diagnosing the different types of vascular malformations
  • Have a clearer understanding of the role of medical and surgical methods of managing vascular malformations

Open to: Candidates must be practicing medicine currently in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland and be in a recognised training post

Topic: How is the NHS going to pay for the emerging technologies of tomorrow’s MaxFax surgery practise?

Papers should be a on the topic related to advances in head and neck microvascular reconstruction. Abstracts should be no more than 200 words (excluding title, authors and references).
