The John Glyn trainees audit prize evening is a free evening meeting to support and learn from other trainees who have entered an abstract on an audit project undertaken during training. You will hear oral presentations from shortlisted applicants and view a poster presentation exhibition.
The evening also includes a drinks reception that will offer a great opportunity to network with fellow trainees and take away tips on presentation skills.

Professor Sir Michael Rawlins is the chair of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the Chair of UK Biobank, an Honorary Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an Emeritus Professor at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Prof Rawlins was the Chair of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) from 1999 until 2013 and was President of the Royal Society of Medicine from 2012 to 2014.

Prize: Oral presentation: 1st - £250, 2nd - £100. Poster presentation: 1st - £100, 2nd - £50
Open to: Trainees from any hospital or primary care specialty
The John Glyn trainees audit prize is awarded for an audit project undertaken during training. Abstracts must be of no more than 200 words including objective, method, results, discussion and conclusion. Applicants must be the primary authors of the original project.
