The aim of this webinar is to promote understanding of the interaction between digital technology and crime in 2021. Hear about the work of Ineqe. Understand the impact of digital technology on crime in young people.

This is an exciting opportunity to hear from Jim Gamble, the former director of CEOP (child exploitation on line). He will speak about the role of digital technology, and how technology can be used in safeguarding. Delegates will learn about the role the internet in bullying and grooming for sexual offences.

The learning objectives will be as follows: 

  • Know about the work of Ineqe
  • Understand the impact of digital technology on crime in young people
  • Be able to recognise the role of the internet in sexual crimes

Jim Gamble, QPM is a retired Northern Irish police officer, and the former director of CEOP ( Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre). He is now CEO of the Ineque group and the Independent Chair of the City and Hackney Safeguarding Children Board.
