Is a surgical career for me?

Thursday 19 November 2009

Venue: The Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 0AE

Registrations will be accepted on the day, but supper can not be guaranteed.

Aims: The meeting aims to give participants a broad introduction to the field of surgery and approaches to a surgical career. Doctors have even less time to expose themselves to surgical specialties than ever before and therefore will benefit from surgeons of different specialties talking about their branches under one roof. The meeting also aims to discuss life as a surgeon and dispense common myths.

Objectives: At the end of the meeting participants will have a better idea of the career pathways into surgery, the various surgical specialties and life as a surgeon.
