TeleMed & eHealth '09

Monday 23 - Tuesday 24 November 2009

It's all about the patient

It's all about the patient

The role of eHealth

Telemedicine continues to evolve both clinical and tele-health applications to improve patient healthcare. There is an increasing global focus of empowering patients themselves in their own medical management. Telemed 09 aims to put the patient at the centre of the delivery of medical treatment in a series of academic and clinical presentations.

Key issues for the conference are expected to include:
  • The state of the evidence base on the potential effectiveness of these technologies.
  • Their ease of use.
  • How they can be integrated into mainstream care services.
  • The financial implications of their adoption.
