Ismond Rosen - last few weeks to see Psychoanalysis and the Creative Mind exhibition at the Wellcome Collection
(closes 21 March 2010)

Ismond Rosen, a distinguished psychoanalyst and gifted artist, worked prolifically throughout his lifetime to produce a vast body of written and artistic work. Rosen disliked the notion of a dichotomy between science and art and sought to marry the two in his work. The Wellcome is displaying a selection of his sculptures in a free small exhibition including one from the RSM called "Civilisation". If you miss them then do visit the RSM as we have 2 of his other works permanently on display called "The Kiss" and "John Hunter".

Thursday 4 March 2010 1pm
"The Good Doctor" Dr John Marks who has been described as a "national treasure", reveals a history of the NHS through the story of his career "from the horrifying to the hilarious, and onto high politics". It promises to be an engaging and informative lecture.
