Key advances: The threat of pandemic influenza
A Royal Society of Medicine Conference on Monday 12 February
The Royal Society of Medicine is holding a conference on Monday 12 February examining the threat of an influenza pandemic.
Given recent events in Suffolk, this timely meeting will be addressed by experts including representatives from the Department of Health, the Health Protection Agency and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Speakers will discuss key topics such as pandemic planning, the likelihood of avian flu transformation, flu vaccines and new developments.
