Assisting people with MS
The Royal Society of Medicine is holding a half-day conference on Multiple Sclerosis (MS) on Friday, 15 July 2005.
In association with the MS Society, the conference will bring together people recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and leading researchers into the cause, cure and treatment of the condition.
As well as giving people with MS the opportunity to hear about the latest treatment developments and new avenues of research, the conference will also look at how health and other support services can be accessed.
The conference is part of The Royal Society of Medicine’s Medicine and Me series. Medicine and Me aims to make medical science more accessible to patients, carers and the general public. The series also enables patients (and carers) to better understand and manage their illness.
Medicine and Me: Multiple Sclerosis. 12pm, Friday 15 July 2005.
