Will food take over from medicine?
The allopathic model of medicine has ‘reached diminished returns,’ some experts say, and as it falters we are ‘moving to a pharmaco-nutritional model.’ Several speakers will present new research and information about the health implications and therapeutic applications of common foods at a meeting of the Food & Health Forum of the Royal Society of Medicine on Wednesday 23 March.
