Call for Abstracts

Conference participants wishing to hold an oral or poster communication should submit abstracts of their communications for approval by the Conference Organising Committee.

The abstract deadline is Monday 5 March 2012

Requirements for abstract

• The work to be presented must be original and substantially the candidate's own
• Language: English
• Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.; single spaced; no extra spacing between paragraphs
• For standardisation, the abstract should not exceed 3600 printable characters; author's details and headers included (this also includes non-visible characters, such as spaces and punctuation)
• The abstract should be structured into the following sections:
  • Title (in Capitals) which clearly indicates the nature of the investigation
  • List of authors (presenting author underlined)
  • Affiliation
  • Background
  • Objectives
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
  • 5 key words for indexing purposes
  • References ( max 4 seminal references)
• One graph/image* for illustration; must comply with the following criteria: Max image width: 500 pixels; Max image height: 500 pixels; Max file size: 500 KB; Allowed file type: gif, jpg
  *Please note that insertion of graphs and images may significantly reduce the number of remaining allowed characters

Please also include:

• A recent photograph of the presenter
• A short CV (maximum 5 lines)

The figure, photo, key words and CV will be published in the conference booklet, which will be printed in colour.

Successful candidates will be notified and will attend the Symposium in The Hague

You will also be notified if your abstract is chosen for an oral presentation
