Fellowships

Fellowships in areas within the field of global health are available from a large number of sources, most of which can be accessed through the websites of our partner organisations.

These fellowships generally last for up to one year and arrangements for financial and academic support vary considerably. You are advised to check upon items included in Resources/Working Overseas when embarking on an overseas fellowship.

The Daniel Turnberg UK/Middle East Travel Fellowship Scheme
This scheme provides opportunities for short-term exchange of medical researchers between institutions in the UK and those in the Middle East. It offers applicants the chance to gain further research experience and learn new techniques, with the aim of developing ongoing scientific collaboration on an international level.

The Andy Haines Scholarship Fund
The Andy Haines Scholarship Fund is supporting Postgraduate Diploma and Masters students undertaking study with the school. The aim is to provide support for individuals who demonstrate the talent, attitude and potential to make a direct and valuable contribution to health worldwide in the future, and who should not be denied that opportunity today.

The Global Health Corps Fellowship
The Global Health Corps (GHC) provides opportunities for young professionals from diverse backgrounds to work on the frontlines of the fight for global health equity in year-long fellowships. Fellows have a measurable impact on the health of the communities in which they work, and draw upon that experience and the GHC alumni network to deepen their impact throughout their careers.
