This meeting aims to increase the awareness of the various ways that we have to control risk factors for the development of peripheral vascular disease.

Participants will learn risk factor control strategies, and will be more aware of what type of patients with peripheral vascular disease will need to be referred for a specialist opinion. The rational behind the establishment of risk factor modification clinics for secondary prevention will also be covered.
