Stevens Lecture for the Laity

Monday 20 May 2013

Venue: Royal Society Of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, LONDON, W1G 0AE

Prostate problems will afflict every other man at some point in his life, and may also impact on his partner. This year, 10,700 men are destined to die of prostate cancer - that is more than one every hour. In this lecture, Professor Kirby will review the causes, diagnosis and management of prostate problems and discuss how the charity Prostate Cancer UK, through its Sledgehammer campaign, is raising funds to improve the care of men suffering from prostate disease.
