Aims: The aim of this meeting is to explore some of the psychological aspects of sport and exercise as undertaken in a range of circumstances.
Objectives: At the end of this meeting, participants will be able to describe the psychological considerations relevant (a) to professional sportsmen and women who have stopped competing, (b) in prolonged exercise under extreme conditions and (c) when encouraging the general public to become more active.
