Sports medicine - more of what you wanted to know but never dared to ask
Friday 19 October 2012
Venue: Telephone Avenue, Cabot Room, Bristol, Bristol, BS1 4BQ
Venue: Armada House, http://www.armadahouse.co.uk/
This regional meeting in Bristol aims to present a comprehensive and up to date overview of some of the most common injuries and clinical problems in sports medicine today. The main aim being to enable those clinicians that encounter patients with sports injuries/issues in their day-to-day practice to have a better understanding of diagnosis and management in this sphere of clinical practice. The day will also offer a series of invaluable insights to those who end up on the touchline of sports events as an enthusiastic amateur sports medicine care provider.
The day will also be highly suited to trainees in emergency medicine, orthopaedics, paediatrics and primary care, who have an interest in sports medicine.
(e.g. the medical parent who gets co-opted as team doctor for their off-spring's sports team).
Online registration is now closed, but places are still available. If you wish to attend, please register on-the-day.
