NHS funding - The end of the golden years?

Monday 20 September 2010

Venue: Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, LONDON, W1G 0AE

The White paper published by the secretary of state for health on 12th July 2010, indicates that we are going to see vast changes in the way that services are commissioned and contracted in the NHS. SHAs are going to disappear, PCTs are going to disappear, all NHS trusts will be foundation trusts, and GPs will hold the commissioning budgets. This will affect almost all people working in health in England and they would benefit by being informed.

Pre-registration is now closed but there are still spaces so you can register on the day.
