This meeting will allow delegates to keep up to date with the current management of disorders of the TMJ, to see the best approaches to imaging for different conditions of the TMJ, the specific problems faced in the management of children with TMJ problems, and finally to assess the best surgical approaches to take in treating patients with TMJ disorders.
At the end of the meeting the delegates will:
1. Have an insight into current research in TMJ replacement surgery.
2. Be able to give an overview of the management of all types of TMJ related pathologies
3. Be able to describe the current surgical techniques used in patients with TMJ disorders
4. Be able to have a logical approach to the management of patients with failed surgical TMJ problems
5. Have an insight into the difficulties faced in setting up a TMJ service.
