Medics at War: Graeme Lothian exhibition at the RSM
1 November - 20 December 2010
Free entry
Open to the public Mon-Fri 9am-6pm
The current exhibition in the Auchi Foyer highlights the work of doctors and medical personnel supporting British troops in Afghanistan. The exhibition is a series of paintings by the artist Graeme Lothian.
The exhibition highlights the important work of a number of military charities, including Combat Stress, SSAFA, Help for Heroes and the Mark Wright Project Centre.
The exhibition coincided with two events: the RSM's Remembrance Ceremony on November 10 2010, when the Society honoured the memory of doctors and medical personnel killed during conflict; and also a meeting organised by the United Services Section - 'Battlefield to Birmingham and Beyond: 10 years of experience'.
