Aim: The aim of the meeting is to provide the audience with evidence-based knowledge of the background and the day-to-day clinical management of patients with lipid disorders.

Objectives: At the end of this meeting the participants will be able to (1) describe and recognise common lipid disorders as seen in a typical specialist lipid clinic setting (2) clinically manage those patients according to evidence-based guidelines (3) value the evidence-based approach to clinical management.
