Maternity & the Newborn Forum

Aims

To prepare reports which could be influential in determining future policies of health care. To integrate the opinions of representatives of many disciplines who had little opportunity of presenting their views within the medical establishment on various aspects of maternity and obstetric care.

Members include

Midwives, nurses, obstetricians, gynaecologists, neonatologists, and anyone with an interest in the activities of the Section.

Call for a Young Fellows Representative

The Section of Maternity and the Newborn Forum currently has a vacancy for a Young Fellow Representative on Council for the Session 2008-2009.

If you are interested in contributing to the Council, please send your CV and statement of intent to maternitycouncil@rsm.ac.uk

and your application will be considered.

A wider range of speciality interest would be beneficail to the Section for eg perinatal psychiatrist, neonatologist.
