The one-day conference will highlight the growing national and international interest in cereal grain research and food product innovation.
Key objectives include enhancement of scientific knowledge for clinicians and healthcare professionals about the health benefits of cereal grains particularly whole grains; promotion of research and the identification of research gaps; better communications and actions to promote cereal-based foods; the setting of goals for dietary guidance; increased dialogue between the different professional disciplines; cooperation between academic and industrial cereal expertise in food and health research programmes and projects.
