Aim and purpose of event: The day is aimed at young people (clinicians and non-clinicians) interested in finding out more about how to have a career in clinical trials and epidemiology (the study of the distribution and determinants of population health). The invited speakers will provide an overview of potential career pathways and how to progress in this relatively new area. There will also be numerous opportunities throughout the day to allow people to interact more informally with the speakers and other relevant parties in order to get further information and guidance.
