Neuropalliative rehabilitation
Wednesday 5 March 2008
Venue: The Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 0AE
This conference aims to bring together clinicians from all backgrounds to consider how we may best work together to support people with complex neurological disabilities. It will address the challenges of clinical care in this under-explored area of practice, and will launch a new set of national guidance for integrated working in the area of neuropalliative rehabilitation.
A new set of guidelines for clinical management of patients with long term neurological conditions at the interface between Neurology, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care services will be launched at the meeting. The guidelines have been produced in collaboration with the National Council for Palliative Care, the British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians.
