Chlamydia is a major cause of ill health and the most commonly diagnosed sexually transmitted infection among the under 25's.
The aim of this cross disciplinary meeting is to provide a comprehensive clinical update on Chlamydia focusing on its epidemiology, biology, immunology, diagnosis and prevention together with its impact on male and female infertility.
Chlamydia infection which is often asymptomatic poses many important challenges across the medical specialties. This symposium in the Clinical Update series should provide new insight into prevention and treatment for Chlamydia enabling delegates to understand better its importance and how best to address it in their laboratories and clinical practice.
