A joint meeting with the IPPNW

An international meeting in association with International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear of Nuclear War and its UK affiliate Medact

The conference aim is to raise awareness and provide the scientific and health update on some ionising radiation issues and hazards, and working groups will discuss future research, education and campaigning. The two day programme will include plenary sessions on radiation and health, the use of highly enriched uranium to produce medical isotopes, and updated modelling of the climate effect of regional nuclear war.
