Humanitarian medicine today is a field more vast and broad-ranging than ever, from the contexts in which assistance is required to the skills relief workers possess.
The Role of the Health Professional in Humanitarian Emergencies: The Chameleon's Response is a one-day meeting organised by the RSM's Catastrophe and Conflict Forum to give you a snapshot of the current landscape of humanitarian medical work.
It brings together experts from key health and health-related sectors operating in this arena. Together with the panellists we will discuss the on-going issues as well as the most recent debates.
This is an exciting forum for those with a background in the field as well as a springboard for those interested in becoming involved, bringing excellent opportunities for interaction between audience and speakers and the chance to get up-to-date with the changing face of Humanitarian Medicine.
