Key advances in the management of Hypertension
Wednesday 4 July 2007
Venue: The Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 0AE
organised by the Royal Society of Medicine in association with The British Hypertension Society
Hypertension which is uncontrolled, or for which a secondary cause is suspected, is one of the commonest reasons for medical referral to hospital. Yet most hospitals do not have a dedicated hypertension specialist.
This meeting aims to update doctors in secondary care on the most recent advances in the management of hypertension, including rational therapy based on the measurement of renin, and algorithms for successful identification of patients with Conn's syndrome.
