Acute diabetes & endocrinology for the general physician
Monday 10 September 2007
Venue: The Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 0AE
organised by the Royal Society of Medicine in association with the Section of Endocrinology & Diabetes
By the end of the conference delegates will be aware of the critical issues to be addressed in early management of diabetic and endocrine emergencies, and will be more able to provide a high standard of initial care of patients admitted on call. The meeting will be valuable to all those involved in the care of general medical patients presenting as emergencies, whether as physicians on take or as acute physicians. It is designed to be relevant to consultants and specialist registrars in medicine, though more junior doctors will also find the meeting relevant to their work.
