This year the Section of Anaesthesia Prize Meeting and AGM will include a lively debate led by Drs William Harrop-Griffiths (President Elect, the AAGBI and Consultant Anaesthetist, Imperial College healthcare NHS Trust) and David Bogod (Consultant Obstetric Anaesthetist, City Hospital, Nottingham) chaired by Dr Crawford Reid, the Section President.

Our Annual Dinner will be held on the River Thames, travelling a return journey from Embankment Pier to Greenwich; taking in world famous landmarks including the Palace of Westminster, the London Eye, St. Pauls' Cathedral, the City, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, Canary Wharf and the 02 Arena all of which look spectacular in the early evening sunset. With arrival drinks, three course meal accompanied by a classical musician and followed by a light hearted after dinner talk given by Drs Harrop-Griffiths and Bogod. This will take place just two days before the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.

Bookings will include travel to Embankment departing the RSM at 6.40pm. The cruise will alight and the evening will end at Embankment (opposite Embankment Underground Station) at approximately 10.00pm
