This course is aimed at providing a thorough grounding in sedation for those clinicians wishing to use such techniques in their practice.
This course is suitable for those with little or no experience of sedation but is also applicable to those currently practising sedation who wish to ensure they are providing appropriate levels of care.
The meeting is multidisciplinary; delegates are welcome from all specialities of surgery, medicine, dentistry and nursing. The course will not only aim to provide a generic grounding in sedation practice applicable to all these groups but will also highlight where differences do occur in accepted or required practice.
The course will be practical and aim to provide clinicians with the knowledge and skills that will enable them provide safe sedation for their patients.
