Membership Administrator
We need to replace one of our membership team and have a vacancy for an efficient administrator in this busy department. Strong organisational and accurate keyboard skills are required in addition to excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. The role involves talking with prospective and existing members of the Society from those studying through to senior professionals in retirement.

Library Assistant Customer Services
Salary - £18,500
Are you keen to deliver accurate, prompt and courteous customer focused enquiry, issue and document delivery services? We are looking for a Library Assistant to join the Customer Services Team in the Library at the Royal Society of Medicine, one of the largest post graduate biomedical libraries in Europe.
You will - provide an Inter Library Loan service producing scans or photocopies of articles accurately and within established time scales; trace and verify references; dispatch articles; use software packages as appropriate; provide an enquiry desk service; accurately record information; move stock as required; update administrative procedures as required.
All Library staff are required to work on the Enquiry Desk during evenings and Saturdays on a rota basis.
You will need:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good team worker.
- Ability to work to and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
- Use software packages some experience of MS Office is desirable.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible and a willingness to learn.
