RFS Camera Club
The Camera Club is an informal offshoot of the RFS and holds meetings on all aspects of digital photography including the taking of photographs and editing images in Photoshop Elements or in the full version of Photoshop. Its objective is to help people with all levels of expertise to improve their photographic skills and to share experience and know-how.
The club began in January 2008 and has held sessions about taking photographs and principals of composition; editing photographs; advances in cameras, lenses and printers for those contemplating purchases; the complexities of colour in shooting, editing and printing photographs, plus opportunities to show photographs taken by members, for comment rather than criticism.
Membership is open only to members of the Retired Fellows Society.
Programme
Meetings are held in the Training Suite (formerly the Lower Atrium Theatre), between 11:00am and 1:00pm.
Members attending any of these meetings are invited to bring a few photographs of their own, both successful and otherwise, for critique by members. Pictures related to the subject of the talk would be welcomed.
